Welcome to Anime Array. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Anime Array website and its related subdomains, including the informational directory, language guides, the AniPick AI recommendation tool, Otaku AI, and the character roleplay features. Please read them carefully. By accessing or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the platform.

1. Our Service Model

Anime Array is an information platform. It operates an editorial directory of anime streaming websites, organizes those sources by language, and provides free tools designed to help with anime discovery. The platform is provided to you for personal, non-commercial, informational use.

In particular, the platform offers:

• Curated navigation. Organized lists of streaming platforms, trending titles, and upcoming release schedules.
• AI-driven tools. The AniPick AI recommendation engine and Otaku AI assistant, which are provided to support discovery and navigation.

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you for any such change.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or guardian or that you are otherwise permitted to use the platform under local law.

When using the platform, you agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or probe our AI systems, interfaces, or infrastructure.

3. Use of AniPick and Otaku AI

AniPick AI makes recommendations based on the titles and preferences you provide. Otaku AI provides conversational assistance about the platform and anime discovery. Both tools are for discovery and entertainment purposes only.

You acknowledge that AI-generated output is probabilistic by nature:

• Recommendations and conversational replies may be incomplete or incorrect.
• Output must not be treated as professional advice of any kind.
• You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the tools, including what you choose to watch.

Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information within AI prompts. See our Privacy Policy for details on how interaction data is handled.

4. Third-Party Websites and Links

The platform links to external websites operated by third parties. Anime Array does not host, upload, stream, mirror, or distribute any anime content, and it does not control any of the destination websites.

When you follow a link, you leave Anime Array. The terms of service, privacy practices, licensing status, and content of the destination site apply to you from that point onward. A listing on Anime Array is an editorial reference only and does not imply that a platform is licensed, endorsed, or affiliated with Anime Array.

5. Intellectual Property

All original writing, editorial guides, site design, branding, and AI tools on Anime Array are the intellectual property of the Anime Array project. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the site’s original content without permission, except as permitted by law.

Anime titles, artwork, and related media referenced on this platform remain the property of their respective creators, studios, and distributors. Anime Array makes no claim of ownership over them and does not host any of that material. You are responsible for understanding the licensing status of any platform you choose to use.

6. Copyright Compliance and Takedown Process

Anime Array operates as a lawful informational directory and takes intellectual property seriously. We respond to valid copyright complaints under the process described in our DMCA & Copyright Notice, and we may remove listings or references where appropriate.

If you believe that material on the platform infringes your rights, please submit a notice using the procedure in that document rather than contacting individual team members.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anime Array disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anime Array and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to:

• Data loss or service interruptions resulting from maintenance, outages, or technical faults.
• Reliance on AI-generated recommendations or conversational output.
• Use of, or inability to use, any third-party website linked from the platform.
• Unauthorized access to your accounts on third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Monetization and Sustainability

Anime Array is committed to keeping its core directory and discovery experience free. We reserve the right to introduce non-intrusive advertising or funding mechanisms to support infrastructure, but any such measures will be implemented with user experience as a priority. Nothing in this section obligates us to offer, continue, or maintain any specific funding model.

9. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle information, including data processed by the AI tools and the AniPick browser extension.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform, or parts of it, at our discretion and without notice, particularly where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised, and the updated Terms will apply from that date forward. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
