1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Anime Array, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
2. The site
Anime Array is an independent editorial website about anime character culture, storytelling, and watching guides. The content is provided for general information and entertainment. It is not a news service, a streaming service, a wiki, or a substitute for professional advice.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We do not guarantee that every page will remain available or that every link will keep working.
3. Content and intellectual property
The original writing, design, and illustrations on Anime Array are owned by Anime Array or used with permission. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Anime titles, characters, logos, and related marks belong to their respective owners. References to those works are made for commentary, criticism, and informational purposes. Anime Array is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any studio, licensor, streaming service, or publisher.
You may not use our original illustrations as logos, merchandise, or promotional assets without written permission. If you want to use one, ask first.
4. Limited license
You may read, print, and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote a short excerpt with clear attribution and a link to the original page. For example: “According to Anime Array, the window seat solves three staging problems at once,” followed by the URL.
You may not republish article text in full, scrape the site at scale, mirror it, or use its content to train a commercial model without permission. Quoting for commentary, criticism, review, or teaching is welcome when it is fair and attributed.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its host, or related systems.
- Interfere with the site’s operation, including through malware, denial-of-service attacks, or automated scraping that degrades service.
- Impersonate Anime Array or misrepresent an affiliation with it.
- Use our original art or text in a way that suggests endorsement of a product, candidate, or service.
6. User submissions
If you send us a correction, source tip, idea, or other feedback, you keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to read it, use it to improve the site, and quote it briefly in a correction note if relevant. We will not publish your full email or personal details without asking.
Please do not send confidential information or material you do not have the right to share.
7. Third-party links
The site links to external sources for citation and further reading. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
8. Advertising
Some pages display advertising served by third-party networks. Ads are labeled “Advertisement.” Anime Array may receive payment from the network for impressions or clicks. We do not endorse the products or services advertised, and we do not control the creative, landing pages, or privacy practices of advertisers.
Your interactions with an ad are between you and the advertiser. If you believe an ad is deceptive, malicious, or unlawful, report it to us at contact@animearray.site and, where appropriate, to the relevant platform or regulator. We can report a creative to the network, but we cannot guarantee removal or compensation.
9. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We work to cite sources and correct errors, but we do not guarantee that every date, translation, height, or interpretation is complete or current. Anime canon varies by medium, edition, and adaptation. When a claim matters to you, check the primary source.
Nothing on the site is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anime Array and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. This includes lost profits, lost data, and business interruption.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero, or (b) the minimum amount required by applicable law.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anime Array and its operator from claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction there, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
14. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect. The unenforceable part will be interpreted as narrowly as possible to reflect its intended purpose.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can go to contact@animearray.site.
These terms are a plain-language description of the site’s rules. They are not legal advice, and they do not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law. If you need legal advice about your own situation, consult a qualified professional.
